Full cheek applies a tiny bit of poll pressure when the rein aid is applied, and prevents the bit from being dragged through the mouth. Jointed mouthpiece uses a nutcracker action and contact with the roof of the horses mouth. Can be used in dressage competitions. Helps steering with green horses. This snaffle (fulmer) has fixed rings to prevent pinching.
